How Our Outreach Service Works:
Our outreach service brings our Feast Evenings to the heart of communities across Cornwall. Working alongside local councils, we host our Feast Evenings with professional chefs who create dishes using ingredients sourced from generous donations.
This offers wholesome, nutritious meals while bringing communities together—supporting those struggling with day-to-day bills, tackling isolation, and even demonstrating cookery skills to both children and adults.
Over the years, it has become increasingly clear that many people are struggling with rising household bills. Rural communities are becoming more dependent on food banks, and the seasonal nature of jobs across the county makes life even more difficult. There is so much more happening beneath the surface, and providing this service is a small but meaningful step toward supporting families and individuals facing hardship and loneliness.
Our aim is to roll out the project three evenings a week, travelling to different areas and working closely with local food banks and community groups. We'll share details of dates and locations on our website and across social media platforms, helping raise awareness and let people know where we’ll be.
We aim to make a difference—and in time, grow the service to make it more accessible to even more people across the county.
